Ali Larter is an American actress and former fashion model who gained fame for her role in the hit NBC series “Heroes.” Ali Larter began her career as a model in 1994 as the hoax model Allegra Coleman in the magazine Esquire. Three years later, Ali Larter bagged her first acting role in the series “Suddenly Susan,” where she was able to work with famous actress Brooke Shields. Ali Larter then garnered acting stints on popular shows such as the medical drama “Chicago Hope,” “Just Shoot Me!” and “Dawson’s Creek.”

In 1999, Ali Larter began to move to the big screen. Her first role was in the movie “Varsity Blues,” where she was able to work with actor James Van Der Beek and actress Amy Smart. The movie was a big hit, and from there Ali Larter was able to bag more acting jobs both on film and television.

On big screen Ali Larter worked on various teen comedy movies, including “Giving It Up” and “Drive Me Crazy.” She later moved on to the horror genre and starred in the remake of the American scream classic “House on Haunted Hill.” In 2000, Ali Larter appeared in another horror movie, “Final Destination.” The following year, Ali Larter returned to making comedies such as “Legally Blonde,” a box-office hit starring Reese Witherspoon. Ali Larter also had roles in movies such as “American Outlaws” opposite Colin Farrell and “Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back,” directed by Kevin Smith.

In 2003, Ali Larter reprised her role as Clear Rivers in “Final Destination 2.” She also starred alongside Amanda Peet and Ashton Kutcher in the romantic comedy “A Lot Like Love.” Also in 2003, Ali Larter had a role in the indie movie “Confess.”

In 2006, Ali Larter turned into a more serious actress after taking a role in the biopic “Crazy.” That same year, Ali Larter joined the cast of the award-winning supernatural TV series “Heroes,” where she became known as Jessica/Niki Sanders and Tracy Strauss. On the TV series “Heroes”, Ali Larter was able to work with fellow stars Milo Ventimiglia, Hayden Panetttiere, Kristen Bell, Leonard Roberts, Masi Oka and Greg Grunberg. Ali Larter was also nominated as Best Supporting Actress at the 33rd Saturn Awards for her role on ‘Heroes’.

In 2007, Ali Larter became the lead character in the Bollywood movie “Marigold,” followed by a role in the popular movie franchise, “Resident Evil: Extinction,” where she played Claire Redfield. By the end of the year, she was cast in the comedy movie “Homo Erectus.”

In 2008, Ali Larter starred opposite Beyonce Knowles in the suspense thriller “Obsessed.” Ali Larter is also set to return to her role as Claire Redfield in the upcoming leg of “Resident Evil,” entitled “Afterlife.”
